Just 30 minutes drive from Flinders Uni, via the Southern Expressway, Dune Hideaway is located at the very quiet, country end of Aldinga Beach, near Silver Sands. On a dirt road, with the beach at one end of the street, and the Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park at the other end, you could think you were much further from Adelaide. With the McLaren Vale wine region and the Fleurieu Coast on your doorstep, however, there are plenty of great places to explore if you want. Or, just put your feet up in a hammock, or around the cosy fire in Winter with a local wine and goodies collected at the Willunga Markets, and you wouldn't have to leave the house. There's so many ways to enjoy Dune Hideaway.
There are two bedrooms with plenty of options for sleeping (Queen Bed, plus double bed with single bunk above it, double sofa bed in the lounge, a double mattress to pull out in the second bedroom etc). It is ideal for a family of 3 to 5 but we have happily had two families with kids enjoy the space.
Comfort is a priority and there are 4 sofas inside the house (one in the main bedroom) because we think you can never have too many! Afterall, people want to put their feet up on holiday. The ducted evaporative air-conditioning keeps the house cool in Summer and there is a combustion wood fire for cosy Winter days.
