Eastside Pilates hosts a range of classes such as Pilates, Powerliving Yoga, TaKeTiNa and X-fit. Taught by Debi, Megan and Aron, Pilates improves your mental and physical well being, increases flexibility and strengthens muscles. Pilates uses controlled movements in the form of mat exercises to tone and strengthen the body. Originally used to rehabilitate bed ridden or immobilized patients, it strengthens the body's core, to create better posture and less prone to injury. Powerliving Yoga, was devised by Baron Baptiste, it is a flowing yoga, using meditation in movement. Classes are taught by Debi. X-Fit comprises of Pilates and Fit Ball, mothers and babies are welcome to this class, but it is open to everybody. (Also taught by Debi). TaKeTiNa is a gentle and powerful moving meditation process that uses the universal language of music to heal and transform us. No prior experience is needed and participants are invited to go at their own pace. This class is taught by Be.
